Virtually Invisible
Invisalign’s clear aligners are absolutely transparent and remain practically invisible when you pop them in.
Made to move
With the removable aligners, you never have to worry about practising your favourite sport – they’re flexible and can simply be removed during activities.
Designed for freedom
No need to change your lifestyle! Eat your favourite foods and drink your favourite drinks (simply remove the aligners while you do).

Invisalign Express is designed to require as little time as possible. With the package including only seven sets of aligners which you can expect to change every 1, 2 or 3 weeks (depending on your orthodontist’s recommendation), the treatment should generally take about 14 weeks (3 months). Bear in mind, that you also need to factor the following aspects:
- Treatment design
During your initial appointment, the orthodontist takes a 3D scan of your teeth, using a digital wand scanner. The file is then sent over to Invisalign’s team, who design the treatment plan. This process can take between 4 and 8 weeks (one to two months); - Compliance can affect treatment time;
You’re required to wear your aligners for 22h a day. If you cannot comply with this and wear them fewer hours, your treatment’s overall time will need to be adjusted.
As a general rule, you can expect to complete treatment with Invisalign Express within 6 to 9 months from the moment you agree to it.
With its clear aligners, the Invisalign Express treatment is particularly suitable for people who need to straighten their teeth, but are concerned about their visual appearance during treatment. Designed to match the needs of people who require only a mild correction, and Invisalign Express treatment typically doesn’t require as many attachments* as other Invisalign packages.
As a general rule, the Express package will be suitable if you want to correct a small gap, a very mild crowding, or a slight movement of another sort. It will not be proper for patients who require bite correction, have moderate or severe overcrowding, or whose teeth have not completely erupted.
*Invisalign Attachments: tooth-coloured small white buttons, bonded to the teeth to help aligners move each tooth in the correct direction.

Both Invisalign Express and the treatments offered by Smile Direct Club are designed to help patients with mild cases, looking for an inexpensive and rather quick solution to their teeth straightening needs. With Smile Direct Club your aligners come to you by post, and you don’t need to visit a clinic. What you miss with home-delivered aligners is:
- Consultation with an orthodontist
Although going to a clinic may not be an experience you’re looking forward to, orthodontists can help you understand your case in debt by providing details about your facial structure, bone density, teeth root direction and more. With this information, you can better understand your oral health needs and address it. - IPR
The interproximal reduction process is when the dentist removes a tiny amount of the tooth’s sides, to allow teeth to fit better next to one another. This is a cornerstone process when treating patients with crowded teeth and can make a world of difference in the end, helping you eliminate black triangles.
We are delighted to offer Invisalign Express at the total cost of £2000, including:
- All of your appointments;
- The initial 3D scan of your smile;
- ClinCheck video – your step-by-step treatment plan;
- All of your aligners;
- Phillips Zoom! teeth whitening home kit (provided at the end of the treatment);
- Fixed or removable retainers (determined by the orthodontist at the end of the treatment based on your case’s specifics).
Please note that undergoing an orthodontic treatment does not substitute for your regular visit to your dentist and dental hygienist, which must be carried out separately. At LDN Dental, we’re happy to offer you both services – simply speak to our friendly receptionists when you visit the clinic.
